David and Janet Hewitt
David and Janet started Square Dancing in 2008 after David took early retirement. Following a weekend “crash course” with Alan Covacic at Wheelers and Dealers they joined Waggoners’ Student Class and graduated that July. They now dance up to A1 four nights a week at Cuffley, Waggoners, Country Roads and Activ 8’s and any Saturday dances or weekends they can make. David is the current Chairman of Waggoners and Janet is their Secretary. The GSI UK Festival in 2009 was their first big festival and they enjoyed it so much they became members of the GSI UK Team in September 2010. They represent dancers on the GSI UK Team and Janet takes the minutes at the meetings.
